Who We Are
​Moses Terrell Scholarship & Charity, Inc., is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that empowers academically excellent but financially disadvantaged students living in Cook, Will or DuPage County , Illinois with high school awards and college scholarships to help them meet the financial challenges of achieving a college or university degree. When we give students a helping hand we are "Empowering Minds to Empower the Future."
​Moses Terrell Scholarship & Charity, Inc., is named in honor of the late Moses "Mickey" Terrell who spent his life championing the value of achieving as much education as possible, especially what he called "a higher education".
His vision was that any student displaying academic excellence would not be deterred from reaching their educational dreams because they did not have the financial resources to do so.

Our Mission
Our goal, our vision, our passion and our mission is to empower academically excellent students by providing them with the financial assistance they need to continue to prosper academically. To that end, we provide these students with high school awards and college scholarships. When we give students that financial helping hand we are "Empowering Minds to Empower the Future."
